Daniel Aharon

Daniel Aharon has significant experience within the Financial Services, Regulatory Compliance, and Legal industries. Prior to joining GCG, he worked in the legal department at the Securities and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) within the State Government Office. Mr. Aharon’s coverage included initiatives focused on broker dealers and investment advisers as well as legislative and regulatory proposals concerning regulators, legislators, government officials, and industry participants pertaining to the legal framework governing the securities industry. Mr. Aharon also prepared legal summaries, position papers/statements, internal memoranda on existing laws and pending legislation. Prior to SIFMA, Daniel interned at Justpoint, a technology startup whose proprietary Artificial Intelligence supported client’s legal initiatives. Mr. Aharon’s responsibilities included researching, condensing and synthesizing legal standards, fee arrangements and applicable limitations. Mr. Aharon holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from CUNY’s Queens College and a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School.
